Mike Boulware, VP Business Development
The Callaway Bank is deeply saddened to say goodbye to a dear member of our bank family. Mike Boulware, or Mikey B. as many knew him, passed away peacefully Sunday at his home in Hatton with his family and pastor by his side. After graduating from MU, Mike worked for The Callaway Bank for 47 years in several positions, the most recent being Vice President of Business Development.
We are grateful for having had his steady presence, encouragement, support, and willingness to step forward and do whatever was needed. He helped countless people throughout his career and was always eager to do whatever he could personally and professionally to make our world a better place. He knew cattle and crops, but most of all, he knew people. He never met a stranger, and he had a knack for bringing out the best in folks.
Mike Boulware was indeed a fine man with a kind and generous heart who was truly committed to serving his community. We’re all going to miss his infectious smile, and his enthusiasm for life in this place we call home. Thank you, Mike, for a job well done. You made a difference.
